2 Design Specific

Are there any elements of your identity that you are attached to (i.e. are there elements that must be used and not altered, such as logo, color, type face, contact info) for use in your web site?
Are there elements you wish to appear on every page of your web site? (i.e. contact info, tagline…etc)
Are there any examples of web sites that you’ve seen you would like to be used as reference, (you might like the look/feel of some sites, or the navigation treatment, the language of the copy, the mood, images, color, graphic style …etc.) Please provide their URL’s (web addresses).
Who are your direct competitors and what are they’re URL’s? How would you see your company’s web site in relation to these other’s?

Do you have existing text/images that you are thinking can be adapted to be used on the web? Do you have this in an electronic format (as computer files)?
Are you willing to pay for the research and usage rights fee for Stock Photography (the usage fees are about $30 and up, one-time fee) or perhaps hiring a photographer to take some product shots, should it be necessary?
Are you willing to pay for any outside costs related to content development (such as editing, copy-writing, typesetting, scanning, illustrating …etc) if they should be necessary?
Do you have existing text/images that you are thinking can be adapted to be used on the web? Do you have this in an electronic format (as computer files)?
How often would you like your web site updated? Are there specific sections that you would wish to update more than others?
Are you interested in an establishing an on-going maintenance contract for future edits and/or additions?
OR would you be interested in a Content Management System that would allow you to easily manage, update and edit your own content on your website?

Technical Recommendations

Supported Browsers:

Statistics show that the percentages of people are using Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Or Edge, it is recommended the browser be up to date with the most current version. This will support the most popular capabilities and be compatible with both PC and Macintosh computers. 

Monitor Resolution:

With regards to the “size” of the page, there are fewer and fewer 800 x 600 resolution monitors out there. The number is small enough that we feel comfortable recommending that the site be designed to fit within a 1024 x 768 resolution monitor without resizing the presentation. The site will still function on a smaller monitor, but it will require a responsive view for the user to see the site. Ultimately it is up to your decision and understanding of your target market.
